Madden NFL 17 will have you in charge of an entire team as you make your way to the ultimate glory of the NFL. You might be wondering, though, how to slide as your QB and avoid taking any damage or fumbling the ball needlessly. Well, have no fear, we have the answer for you.
Sliding is simple in the new Madden. Just make sure you’re pushing the left trigger in the direction you want to slide to, and hold down the left and right triggers, along with the X button on Xbox One or the Square button on PS4. Pushing all of them at the same time will make your quarterback say, “Oh, hell no.” and plop to the ground. This will avoid him or any of your players, really, possibly getting hurt from a tackle or even worse fumbling the ball. Keep this in mind when you’re running the ball with any player, and play smart. Don’t take the hit if you don’t have to.
