Madden 20: How to Get Training Points

madden 20, training points

Madden 20 brings some interesting new features to the Ultimate Team experience, but at its core, it’s still about building out your squad to be the best it can be via card packs. This time around, though, stats have a much greater impact on your squad’s overall performance. Luckily, you don’t have to rely entirely on new cards to improve your squad; there’s also the ability to upgrade them, too. This is done by way of Training Points, so here’s what you need to know about how they work and how to get them.

What They Are

As mentioned before, Training Points are a way to upgrade the players you already have in your Madden Ultimate Team. While Master Cards in your squad require special tokens, standard players can be upgraded by earning Training Points and applying them.

However, it’s worth keeping in mind that not all players can be upgraded, and even for those that can be there are some that have certain requirements before you can.

Training Points can also be spent on upgrading your player’s chemistry boosts, requiring you to spend points on each of these individual upgrades.

How to Get Them

Put simply, training Points are earned simply by playing the game across its various modes, opening packs, and completing challenges.

The best way to give yourself a nice boost of Training Points is by completing the Missions under the ‘Welcome to Ultimate Team’ tab. You’ll get plenty of coins by completing these basic tutorial missions. You’ll also gets cards and, eventually, an 85 Master Ultimate Player.

From here, we’d suggest playing the ‘NFL Epics’ game mode. The challenges here are tough and time-consuming, but they do reward you handsomely if you can consistently achieve the highest star rankings.

By getting the Epic players in this mode you’ll have the option to sell them on for a lot of points. For example, Deacon Jones is worth 670.

As you work through this Epic mode there are also milestone challenges that reward with gold packs, which, again, can be exchanged for cards and then Training Points.

This isn’t the only game mode that will net you points, though; as you level up, in general, you’ll get a lot of free cards, which you can then sell on for Training Points.

Unfortunately, we have to mention that the easiest way to earn Training Points is by purchasing card packs with real money and selling on the players you don’t want for points.

That should give you a good idea of how to get Training Points in Madden 20. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to search Twinfinite. We’ve listed some related content below you might find useful:
