Last year’s entry in the Madden franchise introduced celebrations, and it was a small but valued touch by fans. It’s no surprise then that the feature is back in Madden 20, and we’re here to walk you through how to celebrate with ease.
How to Celebrate in Madden 20
Available for use following any successful big play, Celebrating is exactly what it sounds like: A celebration by the player you currently control.
There are a number of celebrations available for use by any given player, and you can readily choose which one they’ll use by using the right analogue stick of the controller you’re using.
Triggering Different Celebrations
Depending on the direction or input you make using the right analogue stick, the player you’re controlling will use a different celebration.
For a celebration that incorporates the rest of the player’s team, press up on the right analogue stick. To spike the ball, move the analogue stick to the right. Moving the analogue stick down will trigger.
Some players also have their own specific signature celebrations, which can be triggered by pressing the right analogue stick to the left. These celebrations can be stolen by both you and other players, however, by pressing R3 or pressing the analogue stick inward.
All of these celebrations are pretty impressively detailed, and can make for some great showboating. However, it is worth noting that they don’t provide any bonuses or advantages (other than irritating an easily-riled opponent).
If you don’t pick any, then one will likely be chosen for you.
Hopefully this cleared up how to celebrate in Madden 20. If you haven’t already, you can dive into the latest entry in the series yourself on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
