How to Get Gooigi in Luigi’s Mansion 3
If you thought that you would be getting Gooigi right at the start of the game, think again. You won’t be able to have access to Gooigi until maybe after about an hour or two of playing through the story.
After you fight the first boss in the game, the Maid ghost, you’ll be able to grab Professor E. Gadd’s luggage from his room and then take it to his laboratory down in the basement garage.
He’ll reveal that the contents of the luggage is Gooigi himself and then E. Gadd will pump his goo into your vacuum and then you’ll participate in a short tutorial that teaches you how to use his skills.
How to Use Gooigi
To summon Gooigi, all you need to do is press down on the right stick. You can pretty much bring him out whenever you want and he can even be controlled by a second player if you wanted to check out the co-op mode.
He can do everything that Luigi can do, so he can use the strobe light with A, the dark light with X, the plunger with Y, thePoltergust with ZR, and any other ability.
But, Gooigi has some unique abilities that Luigi cannot do such as the power to slip through metal bars, walk over spikes, fall through grates, and go through pipes.
Just be careful because Gooigi has one weakness and that’s water. If he comes in contact with any sort of liquid, it’s all over for him.
