How to Beat Shark Boss in Luigi’s Mansion 3
Once you walk onto the spooky ghost ship on the twelfth floor of the hotel to save the Yellow Toad from the painting, you will come face to face with a ghost shark that has the next elevator button stuck in its eye.
The boss fight will start off with the shark moving across the floor with its mouth opening and closing. What you need to do is pick up the barrel bombs and then toss them into its mouth while it’s opened up.
If you find yourself taking damage from the shark, you can always break the crates on the ship to find some hearts.
Second Phase
Once you blow up the shark’s mouth enough times, the shark will pop out of the ground and will begin to attack you head-on. Because of its eye-patch, using the strobe light won’t work on it for now but wait for him to attack you with his hook and then eventually the hook will get stuck on the floor.
Now, you’ll be able to stun him by shooting him with the light at his other eye and then you’ll be able to suck him up by the tail with the Poltergust.
Just rinse and repeat until its health gets down to 100 and then the final phase will start.
Final Phase
Now, the ship will begin to sink and what you need to do is run over to the right side of the ship and use your plunger on the wooden plank with the red target on it and then hang on for dear life.
Then, once the ship goes back to “normal,” you can start to throw bombs into the shark’s mouth until he pops out again. Wait for him to do the hook attack, and then stun him so that you can defeat him once and for all.
