Let’s not beat around the bush here, Lost Ark has a ton of different currencies, which can complicate buying and selling gear for your character, or unused bits in your inventory you’re no longer using. Lost Ark Pheon is one such currency, and is one of the more confusing ones out of the bunch. But fear not, we’re here to try and clear up some of the confusion surrounding what Pheon is used for, how to get it in Lost Ark, and what the ‘Bound to Roster‘ tag on it means.
What Is Pheon?
Pheon is one of Lost Ark’s special currencies. It’s used to purchase rare items like armor or weapons from the Auction House.
Getting Pheon in Lost Ark
- Pheon can be obtained by purchasing it from the in-game cash shop.
- Specifically, it can be purchased with Blue Crystals, which can be obtained via login rewards or bought with Royal Crystals by purchasing them with real money in the in-game shop.
Royal Crystals can be purchased in various quantities, shown in the screenshot below.
These are:
1000 Royal Crystals = $14
2200 Royal Crystals = $27.50
5750 Royal Crystals = $68.50
12,000 Royal Crystals = $137 - If you don’t want to buy Royal Crystals and convert them to Blue Crystals, you can also get Blue Crystals in other in-game ways.
For instance, getting them as login rewards as mentioned before is a viable way of accumulating them. You can get them through chests as quest completion rewards, and you can also buy them off the Auction House with Gold.
- The prices for purchasing 100 Pheons is 850 Blue Crystals.
Lost Ark’s various currencies can get a little confusing, and this certainly doesn’t make things any easier for new players jumping in to check out the loot-focused MMORPG and see what all the fuss is about.
Pheon ‘Bound to Roster’ Explained
Another thing that’s confusing players about Pheon is the fact that it’s ‘Bound to Roster.’ This simply means that the currency is tied to your characters on that specific server, so all of your characters on that server can use the item. It is not tied to your account, so if you’re playing on different servers, you won’t be able to transfer Pheon between the two.
If you want to move your Pheon to another character, go to the Storage Keeper in any town (marked with a chest icon). Here you can move any of your ‘Bound to Roster’ items into this storage, which can then be accessed by any of your other characters to withdraw and use it.
