It is important to note that in order to even use bombs, you must progress to the second dungeon in Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD. Here, you’ll get the bomb bag that allows you to use them freely. Just beware that you’ll need to restock them by finding bomb flowers. To pick these up and put them in your bag, press B.

How to Throw & Roll Bombs in Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD

To take out a bomb in Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD, all you have to do is press ZR. If you want to throw it, simply point the right analog stick upwards and press ZR again. Rolling bombs is almost identical. Press ZR to bring the bomb out and then aim the right analog stick downwards. Press ZR again to roll the bomb.
