Where Does Dina Go in Last of Us 2?

In the game’s final act, we see that Ellie has settled down in a farmhouse with Dina and the baby JJ. They appear to be content and are living an idyllic farm life, at least until Ellie decides to search for Abby again as she’s unable to let go of her past trauma.

Dina begs Ellie not to go, but to no avail. After Ellie tracks down Abby in Santa Barbara, she eventually returns to the farmhouse only to find the house empty, with Dina and JJ gone.

At this point in time, it’s probably safe to assume that Dina ended up going back to Jackson. Early on in the game, when the two girls first arrive in Seattle, Dina floats the idea about living on a ranch to settle down, and she also mentions that ideally it would be right outside Jackson.

With that in mind, the farmhouse that they lived at was probably pretty close to Jackson. And considering that Dina has no desire for revenge or the will to go after Ellie since she has JJ to take care of, it’s very likely that she went back to Jackson instead to be with her friends and family.

That’s all you need to know about where Dina goes in The Last of Us 2. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
