kingdoms of amalur, stealth

While Kingdoms of Amalur’s graphics and level design certainly feel dated eight years after its initial release, there’s no denying the game was way ahead of its time in many other areas. How to Sneak in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning

With so many huge fantasy weapons and flashy magic on offer right from the very off, sneak attacking probably isn’t the first mode of offense to come to mind when starting out in Kingdoms of Amalur. As it turns out, it’s not only an option but a very effective one indeed, helping you weed out a field of enemies before attacking head on or slipping away unseen.

To stealth, all you need to do is hold R1 (PS4) or RB (Xbox One), which puts you in crouched sneak mode that makes your character harder to detect.

How to Stealth Attack

As for actually performing a stealth finish, that requires you to have daggers equipped. You can purchase these from basically any weapon vendor in the game. Once you’ve got them equipped it’s just a case of sneaking up behind an enemy and pressing Square (PS4) or X (Xbox One) to execute a finisher.

Here’s a step-by-step to make it crystal clear:

  1. Press R1 (PS4) / RB (Xbox One) to enter sneak mode.

  2. Press Square (Xbox One) or X (Xbox One) to execute a sneak attack (must have daggers equipped).

That’s everything there is to know about how to sneak and stealth attack in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning. For more useful tips and information on the game, be sure to search Twinfinite.
