Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally here. After over a decade long wait fans of the series can finally see the conclusion of this epic saga. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Aerial Recovery in Kingdom Hearts 3.

A lot has changed since Kingdom Hearts 2 and fans have been eager to finally see how their favorite systems from the spinoff games have made their way into Kingdom hearts 3.

Of course, staples of the combat like dodge rolls, parrying, and magic are all still there, with some changes. Veterans of the series will quickly notice they are missing an essential part of their toolkit right off the bat, which is the aerial recovery ability.

In order to get the aerial recovery ability, you will have to wait until you reach the Toy Story world known in the game as Toy Box. Once you win the first battle in this world, the ability will be granted to you as a reward.

You can then use it by equipping it in the abilities section of your menu. Aerial recovery is used when Sora gets hit while in the air and is stunned. Merely press the circle or B button while falling through the air to quickly recover and begin attacking again before you hit the ground.

This ability is a crucial component of Sora’s toolkit and will get you out of a lot of sticky situations, especially in some of the boss fights in the game. Using aerial recovery makes a considerable difference in the flow of combat, allowing you to get right back into the action with minimal downtime.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get Aerial Recovery in Kingdom Hearts 3. The game is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more tips, tricks, and guides be sure to check out our Kingdom Hearts 3 Wiki. Other guides you may find helpful can be found below.
