How to Cook Food in Kingdom Hearts 3

Recommended Videos

Like any good Kingdom Hearts game, there are all sorts of fun minigames you can play outside of the main story and gameplay loop. One such activity is cooking, so here’s how to cook food in Kingdom Hearts 3.

For your chance to turn into a culinary key master, you’ll need to wait until you unlock the Ratatouille cooking minigame. This won’t be until you’ve followed the story through until you reach Twilight Town.

Here, you’ll save Little Chef Remi as part of the main storyline, which in turn, leads you to the Bistro in town and meeting Scrooge McDuck. Following this scene, you can access the minigame by approaching the menu in front of the Bistro. Once you’ve cooked once with Little Chef Remi, you can then return to the Bistro from any save point.

As long as you have the right ingredients, you can start cooking food. These ingredients can be found scattered across the game world in objects like fruit bowls and Chinese takeaways boxes.

The dishes you can prepare range from soups and desserts to fish platters and more, which can boost max MP and HP or increase defense, strength, and magic.

In terms of what you can actually cook, there are different minigames depending on the dish. These range from timed button presses to tilting the sticks in a certain direction. They’re pretty brief, but you’ll want to be careful not to make a mistake, as failing loses you all your ingredients.

That’s all the information you should need about how to cook food in Kingdom Hearts 3. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to check out our wiki page.
