Digimon World Next Order: How to Keep Digimon Alive

Keep Digimon Alive – Digimon World: Next Order

Digimon World: Next Order is very different from something like Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. As you play, your Digimon Partners age and will even die. Don’t worry though, they’ll instantly be reborn as a new baby, with some of their skills and increased starting stats, but it can still be rough to have a creature you’ve trained up simply kick the bucket when you least expect it.

While the life of your Digimon isn’t told to you, there are ways to prevent it from dying quickly in Digimon World: Next Order. They all revolve around treating your partners right and being a good tamer. Here are a few ways to ensure that you’re not shortening the life span of your buddies so you can keep them alive.

Don’t Lose in Battle – When a Digimon falls unconscious during a fight, they suffer injuries that can shorten the lifespan of that partner. Avoid fights that are too difficult, and remember that there’s no shame in running.

Taking Too Much Damage – While losing is far worse, taking too much damage can also lead to sickness and a shorter life.

Sickness – Digimon will become sick if they aren’t fed, don’t get rest, or aren’t allowed to use the bathroom. Sustained injuries can also lead to sickness. If your Digimon happens to get sick, give them medicine ASAP.

Poop – Pooping outside of a bathroom lowers a Digmon’s happiness and makes it harder to keep them alive. It can also adversely affect their stats and change the course of a Digivolution if it happens too many times.

As long as you work to avoid these situations you should be able to keep your partners alive in Digimon World: Next Order for a bit longer. They’ll still die, though, so prepare your heart. But at least you’ll know you allowed them to live to their fullest.
