What They Are For

Seeds in It Lurks Below can be planted in soil that’s been tilled with a hoe. After this, they can then be grown to give you access to plants and food. Fortunately for you, they can be stored without limit so if you come across some, pick them up.

Beyond their ability to grow into plants that will provide you with food, they aren’t used for anything else in It Lurks Below.

  • Black Bean

How to Get Them

To get seeds in It Lurks Below, you need to do exactly what you’d probably guess: find and kill monsters. They can be found within special rooms and in bags and they’re also usually inside monster chests.

To get to these monster chests, though, you’re going to need to prepare to kill some monsters because it’s not often you’ll find a monster chest unguarded by at least one monster.

The final way to obtain seeds happens near the start of the game. When you complete the farming tutorial quest near the start of the game, you’ll be given three.
