Is Destiny 2 Coming to PC?

Destiny has been a surprise to fans and critics alike. While the game has some solid shooting mechanics, the lack of initial content (particularly in the narrative area) and the various game systems meant a lot of work still needed to be done. The game is now in its third year after several patches, expansions, and free updates, but still, fans are ready for the next big thing, and the fact that Destiny 2 is due out next year hasn’t escaped notice. However, there are still a lot of questions revolving around the upcoming title, especially whether or not it will head to PC this time around.

Back in September it was reported that Destiny 2 will in fact heading to PC, which would finally bring the franchise to players who don’t use consoles. The report stated that to make this a reality, Vicarious Visions (Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2) and High Moon (Transformers: War for Cybertron) would be assisting with development.

Of course, there has yet to be any confirmation on this from Bungie, the developers of Destiny, or their publishers, Activision. The original game didn’t make it to PC due to the sheer amount of work that it involved and the fact that Bungie was developing the game for four platforms internally. Hopefully, with possible assistance from outside developers, the sequel can hit more platforms.

For now, the answer to the question is simply a possibly.
