How to Get Sub-Zero in Injustice 2
As is the case with all of NetherRealm’s fighting games, there are new challengers being introduced to Injustice 2 as the months roll on. The first Fighter Pack was announced some time ago and it was to feature three new characters: Red Hood, Sub-Zero, and Starfire. Instead of releasing them all as a group, the developers are instead rolling them out one by one. With Red Hood entering the fray back in June, it’s time for Mortal Kombat’s very own cryomancer to take center stage as Sub-Zero begins to enter Injustice 2 games around the world.
Now many of you may be wondering how to actually get Sub-Zero into your own game, and there are quite a few answers to that which revolve around how you plan on purchasing your DLC.
If you bought the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Editions of Injustice 2 ($80 and $100 respectively) then you’ll have full access to Fighter Pack 1 and will be able to download Sub-Zero starting on July 11. The same is true if you purchased either Fighter Pack 1 alone ($20) or the Ultimate Pack ($40) which gives you access to the nine planned DLC characters. Owning either of these lets you download the new fighter immediately.
If you’re not looking to spend that much money when you really only want a single character, you’ll have to wait until July 18 when he will be sold a la carte for $5.99. You won’t get the early access, but you’ll at least get the character you’ve been waiting on for so long.
When Sub-Zero is made available just access your digital marketplace of choice either through your console’s main menu or through Injustice 2’s main menu and download Sub-Zero. That’s all there is to it.
