Injustice 2: How to Get All Characters

How to Get All Characters in Injustice 2

Recommended Videos

Injustice 2 has a base roster of 27 characters that you’re able to choose from right at the very beginning. You can increase this count by unlocking more characters, though things are slightly different this time around. Some of the other characters are actually alternate versions of those already available. They share the exact same move sets and stats, but they have unique looks, voices, and dialogue to really flesh them out. Below you’ll find how to unlock all characters available in the game so you have more options to beat up your friends (or enemies) with.

Brainiac

Brainiac, Injustice 2

Brainiac, one of the main antagonists of Injustice 2’s story, is unlocked by completing the single player campaign with any ending. Once the credits roll, he’ll pop up as a reward for your efforts.

Darkseid

As you can probably tell from the above image, Darkseid is a pre-order bonus for the game. As of right now, there’re no other ways to gain access to this powerful foe. If NetherRealm handles this like they did with Goro in Mortal Kombat X, you probably won’t be able to get this guy for some time.

Mr. Freeze

An unlockable skin for Captain Cold, Mr. Freeze can be purchased for 6,000 Source Crystals. You may also get lucky and earn it from an activity such as a Multiverse Event.

Vixen

Vixen’s popularity has been on the rise again recently thanks to appearances on Arrow, her own recent animated series, and DC Rebirth. It may be why she’s included as an alternate skin for Cheetah that you can purchase for 6,000 Source Crystals.

Grid

Grid is Cyborg’s perfect form (according to Brainiac at least). He’s all of the genius and power minus the emotions that come with Vic’s human side. Unlike other skins and characters in Injustice 2, you can’t actually buy Grid. Instead, you simply have to link your Injustice 2 Mobile account to the game.

Reverse Flash

There are a couple of ways to unlock this evil speedster. The first is to have bought the Ultimate Edition of the game ($100). This grants immediate access to the Reverse Flash premium skin in Injustice 2, changing the look, voice, and dialogue of the character. If you didn’t buy the more expensive version of the game, you can simply save up your Source Crystals (6,000 of them) and purchase it from Flash’s loadout menu.

Jay Garrick Flash

This version of the Flash isn’t obtainable through any of the editions of Injustice 2 but can be unlocked in game by paying Source Crystals or earning it as a reward.

John Stewart

Considered by some to be the best Green Lantern, you can put on the summoned tights and stoic attitude of John Stewart as you take the fight to your opponents. You can obtain this skin (which is complete with unique voice and dialogue) by purchasing the Ultimate Edition of Injustice 2 or by paying up 6,000 of your precious Source Crystals.

Power Girl

You have a few ways to unlock this Earth-Two variant of Supergirl. She comes in the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of Injustice 2 (they cost $80 and $100 respectively) already unlocked and ready to rumble. You just have to equip her as a skin to Supergirl. And, like all the other alternate characters you can unlock, she has her own dialogue and look. If you bought only the standard edition you’re still in luck. You can buy this skin for 6,000 Source Crystals.

That’s all you need to know to unlock all characters in Injustice 2. For more on Injustice 2, be sure to check out our growing wiki.
