As anyone who has played the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta is surely aware, there is a lack of sights that drag does some of the better weapons. Though better sights can be unlocked, it’s just a little tricky to figure them out. Here’s how to unlock the Cronen Mini Red Dot in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta.

How to Get the Cronen Mini Red Dot in the CoD Modern Warfare 2 Beta

There’s a high chance the first optic unlocked, the SZ Reflect, isn’t your thing. It’s a scope that narrows your version too much to truly be worthwhile on most of the guns in the beta. There is a way to get a red dot optic, specifically the Cronen Mini Red Dot, but it will take a little work.

  1. Your first step will be to get the M4 assault rifle to level 12.

    This should be rather easy as well have decided the M4 is the best assault rifle in the beta.

  2. Upon reaching level 12 with the M4 assault rifle, you will unlock the FTAC Recon battle rifle

  3. From here you will need to use the FTAC Recon until it reaches level 16.

  4. Level 16 of the FTAC Recon will unlock the FSS Hurricane SMG to use.

  5. You only have to get the FSS Hurricane to level three and the Cronen Mini Red Dot optic will unlock.

    The Cronen Mini Red Dot isn’t specific to M4 platform weapons. It will be available on just about every other weapon you have available.
