How to Redeem Preorder DLC Code in Evil Dead The Game

First things first, you’ll need to locate the code for your preorder DLC. This should be either in the box with your game, emailed to you if you purchased the game from an online retailer, or on a bit of till receipt if you bought it from a brick and mortar shop.

Next, go to the PlayStation Store, Epic Games Store or Microsoft Store and select the ‘Redeem Code’ option. Enter the code as it’s displayed and you should receive a confirmation message of the bonus DLC items that it’ll get you. These are:

  • Ash Williams S-Mart Employee outfit
s-mart employee skin for ash williams
  • Ash Williams Gallant Knight outfit

Confirm that you want to redeem the code and then load up the game.

Equipping the Preorder Bonus Outfits

To change a character’s outfit in Evil Dead: The Game, go to the ‘Collection’ tab from the menu screen and then select the character you want to change the outfit of. In this instance, you’d choose Ash Williams.

From here, press R1/ RB to tab over to the ‘Outfits’ screen. You can now select either of the preorder DLC outfits and press X/ A to confirm your choice.

This same process applies for changing the outfit of any survivor or demon in the game. If you ever want to revert back to their default look, go through the same steps and select the ‘Default’ option.

The more you play Evil Dead: The Game, the more outfits you’ll unlock for each character to choose from, so keep that in mind. The ‘Savini Variant’ skin for Ash Williams is only available as part of the Collector’s or Ultimate Collector’s Editions of the game.
