With Street Fighter 6 set to release next year, Capcom is getting set with a closed beta test for hardcore players. Fans who have been waiting for this new game will get their own chance to apply to be part of this early testing period to help Capcom make the final product the best it can be. Here’s how to apply to take part in the Street Fighter 6 closed beta test.
How To Play in the Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta Test
To play in the closed beta test for Street Fighter 6, you must be 18 years of age or older, and you will need to register through Capcom’s official Street Fighter 6 website. Like any other Capcom closed beta, you’ll need to have a Capcom ID account and link it to your platform of choice when requesting access. Keep in mind that your application will be canceled if you delete your Capcom ID after applying to take part in the test.
The closed beta will be available across PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S – the closed beta will not be available for the PlayStation 4 version – and crossplay will be enabled for all users. Console players will also have to link their respective console account – PlayStation Network or Xbox Live – to their Capcom ID before applying. Your platform choice can not be changed, and your application will also be rejected if you unlink your chosen platform account from the Capcom ID after requesting access.
The closed beta test will run from Oct. 7 through Oct. 10. As part of the beta, players will be able to choose from eight characters, six stages, and a bevy of game modes. The official website also offers required PC specifications for gamers who need it.
