The process is a lot simpler than you think: all you need to do is break the Sculk Shrieker. These blocks act as an alarm system for the Warden and produce an eerie sound when triggered. You can break it with any tool, but using the Hoe is the fastest method.

If you take too much time destroying the block, you may awaken the protector of the Ancient City in the Deep Dark biome. As long as you don’t trigger the Sculk Sensor or Sculk Shrieker four times, you should be safe.

Blocks of wool can also aid in this operation if you need additional help. Placing these blocks around the Sculk Sensor can prevent it from transmitting the wavelengths to nearby Sculk Shriekers. As a result, you won’t have to worry as much about triggering the Warden.

When you finally kill the Shriekers, the beast will no longer be a threat to you, and Sculk Sensors won’t have any use anymore. However, keep in mind that there are probably others nearby, so you could still activate the Warden if you are not careful.

If you want to obtain the block, you can use a Hoe with a Silk Touch enchantment to pick it up. Breaking the Sculk Shrieker with no Silk Touch can also give players XP.
