How to Register for PlayStation Stars

At the time of writing, sign-ups for PlayStation Stars aren’t open just yet. Sony has simply stated that registration will open up later this year, but they’ve yet to give a concrete release date or window.

In the meantime, however, the official PlayStation Stars page is now live, and you’ll definitely want to bookmark this site so that you can sign up immediately once registration is open. We’ll update this article as soon as more info becomes available.

Registration is completely free as well, which means that anyone can sign up for the loyalty program.

PlayStation Stars Rewards

Once you sign up for PlayStation Stars, you’ll be eligible for the following benefits:

  • Earn loyalty points
  • Earn digital collectibles
  • Earn points from purchases if you’re a PS Plus member

Presumably, these loyalty points can be redeemed for other services, including discounts on digital purchases or putting them towards getting more digital collectibles. The idea is that by accruing all these points, you’ll be able to hoard more of these collectibles, be encouraged to make more purchases on the PlayStation storefront, and all of these factors will cause consumers to become more loyal to the PlayStation brand.

That’s all you need to know about how to sign up for PlayStation Stars. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more news and information on the latest State of Play, as well as the company’s recent decision to increase PS5 prices.
