Moondew Nectar is a new food type added in Slime Rancher 2. This food is evasive and if you don’t know what you’re looking for, you might end up with some hangry flutter slimes in your Conservatory. If you need more to feed your personal friends or just to see what’s under the Flutter Gordo you are in the right place. Follow along as we let you know How to Get Moondew Nectar in Slime Rancher 2.
Can You Farm Moondew Nectar in Slime Rancher 2?
Unfortunately at this time, you cannot farm Moondew Nectar in Slime Rancher 2. This means it may be best to appreciate flutter slimes in their natural habitat, as there aren’t any other types of nectar available to feed them. This includes the Flutter Gordo, which needs at least 16 nectar to pop.
If you need to farm flutter plorts for crafting or selling, we recommend setting up a market link or refinery link nearby so that you can grab any stray flutter plorts that you find. Keep in mind that Moondew Nectar is the Flutter Slimes’ favorite food as well, so each time one is eaten there will be two plorts produced.
Where Can I Find Moondew Nectar in Slime Rancher 2?
Moondew Nectar can only be found in the Starlight Strand during the night. You’ll see these blue flowers on the walls and trees in the southeastern part of the area. These are the flowers that actually drop the nectar. Keep in mind a watched nectar never grows so I recommend working on feeding the nearby Ringtail Gordo while you passively collect the Nectar. Moondew Nectar is currently the only nectar-type food available in Slime Rancher 2 so make sure you save what you end up collecting for future Flutter Slime farming.
