The Fallen Sunstar is one of three exotic armor pieces introduced in Destiny 2’s Season of Plunder. This pirate-themed season is all about treasure, big Ketch ship events, map fragments and all kinds of other high-seas shenanigans. In this guide, we’ll run you through how to get this new exotic Warlock helmet that could be perfect for a support-style build.
How to Get Fallen Sunstar in Destiny 2
This exotic, like many others can only be obtained by completing Legendary or Master Lost Sectors. Each day, a new Lost Sector is chosen and that will give out a random exotic for a specific armor slot. For example, Bunker E15 may give out exotic helmets, as is the case today.
As such, it’s recommended that you check what the Legendary or Master Lost Sector is and its rewards each and every day around the reset time of 1pm ET/ 10am PT/ 6pm GMT.
When you see that the helmet is a reward for a day’s Legendary or Master Lost Sector, you can go ahead and grind it out. With a bit of luck, you’ll get the Fallen Sunstar exotic Warlock helmet in Destiny 2.
Keep in mind that there’s no guarantee that completing the Legendary or Master Lost Sector will drop the Fallen Sunstar, even if it’s exotic helmets that are the reward. The only exception to this is if you’ve already got every exotic Warlock helmet. In that case, the Fallen Sunstar will be a guaranteed drop.
Fallen Sunstar Perk Explained
Fallen Sunstar has the ‘Ionic Conductor’ perk. This perk causes ‘Ionic traces you create to move faster and grant you additional ability energy. Nearby allies also gain ability energy when you collect an ionic trace.’
