You’ll need to fly into The Collider’s Energy Field in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 for one of your week 10 quests. However, you may find your asking exactly what the energy field is, or if you’ve not played in the past couple of weeks, exactly what The Collider is. In this guide, we’ll run you through everything you need to know on exactly that.
Flying Into The Collider’s Energy Field
The Collider’s energy field is focused around the Doomsday Device right at the center of this named location.
The easiest way to fly into the energy field is glide your way over to it from the very beginning of the game when you hop out of the Battle Bus.
The energy field itself is actually the orange glowing energy right at the center of the tower. You’ll need to glide your way through the metal columns and touch the orange beam.
Once you’ve touched the energy field, you’ll be catapulted backwards through the air and the challenge should automatically complete, and you’ll be ready to carry on playing through your match as you see fit.
If the Battle Bus isn’t going anywhere near The Collider at the start of the match, remember you can always use the newly-unvaulted Rift-To-Go to send yourself back into the skies. Make sure you’re relatively close, though, so you can actually fly into The Collider’s energy field without falling short.
Why Is the Fly Into Collider Energy Field Challenge Not Completing?
It has now been confirmed that this challenge is bugged and has been disabled and replaced with “Deal 500 Damage to Opponents with a Light Machine Gun.”
It’s unclear whether or not this challenge will return at a later date.
That’s everything you need to know to complete this Fortnite week 10 challenge and earn that 20,000 XP. For more of our coverage on the game, be sure to check out the links below.
