The first step you’ll want to try is simply exiting and closing out Modern Warfare 2 and going back in the game. This should serve to hard reset the game and the issue. If this didn’t solve the problem, then follow these simple steps.

  1. Delete the game by going to Settings and then Storage.

  2. Reinstall Modern Warfare 2.

  3. Start your PS5 in safe mode, and then select “5. Rebuild Database.”

If you end up seeing this error repeatedly, then reset your PS5 by following these steps:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Press System, and then System Software.
  3. Reset your PS5
