Chromed Vehicle Locations in Fortnite

The full challenge text wants players to “drive different types of chromed vehicles” with the requirement of three different types. The bad news is that there aren’t any naturally spawning chromed vehicles. Not yet, at least.

You will have to create your own chromed vehicles, and the good news is that it is pretty simple. Your first stop will be one of the fully chromed map locations.

Your choices are:

  • Lustrous Lagoon
  • Herald’s Sanctum
  • Shimmering Shrine
  • Cloudy Condos

You’ll want to open chests and break chrome-covered walls and items until you get at least one vial of Chrome Splash.

From here, you’ll need to find at least one car, it doesn’t matter what type, but make sure you remember what it was.

Throw the Chrome Splash onto the vehicle and then hop into the driver’s seat. Near as we can tell, there isn’t any difference between a chromed vehicle and a normal one.

If you can gather three Chrome Splashes, your best bet is to then head to a gas station. They typically have more than one type of vehicle around them. Once you get through three vehicles, you will have the challenge completed.

That’s everything you need to know for how to find chromed vehicles in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. While you are in chrome-named locations, we have a guide on finding Evochrome weapons. If this is your last week 1 challenge, you should look over what you can expect from week 2.
