Powerful enemies are ones with Orange or Yellow health bars, mini-bosses, and bosses. As mentioned, they aren’t so easily available under most circumstances. However, there are a few ways to find and defeat these opponents with ease.

Vex-Themed Strikes

Vex-themed strikes are a great place to look for powerful enemies. There’s always a boss at the end, while mini-bosses are scattered throughout. Specifically, aim for The Glassway and The Inverted Spire strikes, as there’s a Vex boss at the end of each. It’s not the fastest method, but it’s a good place to start if you aren’t trying to get the challenge done immediately.

Vex Raids

Vex raids are a great place to farm powerful Vex for those who play with others. Each encounter throughout is swarmed with multiple variants of them. Not to mention there are two bosses in each raid. Your options are either the Garden of Salvation or Vault of Glass raids. Gather a fire team of six, and storm into the raids to defeat the enemies needed to progress your quest.

The Offrey Lost Sector

If you’re looking to complete the challenge as fast as possible, then The Offrey Lost Sector on Nessus will by far be the best choice. When you enter the sector, run all the way to the back of the room where the boss and his two mini-bosses are waiting. Defeat the mini-bosses first, then deal only 50% damage to the boss. When the boss has 50% HP remaining, two more mini-bosses will spawn. Defeat the additional mini-bosses, then finally the boss itself.

If you’re fast enough, you can do all of the above in under a minute. Defeating the boss and the mini-bosses will grant you roughly 10% progress toward your challenge. Repeat these steps nine more times and you’ll have the challenge complete in ten minutes give or take.
