How to Duel a Character

Please note: while you can shoot any NPC and they will engage you in combat, that doesn’t count as a duel. At present, there are only three NPCs that you can duel for whatever rewards they happen to give.

The map locations can be seen below.

These NPCs are:

  • Sabina in the far north drops an Epic Assault Rifle, Epic Pump Shotgun, and a Chug Splash.
  • Mancake in Rocky Reels drops a Rare Revolver, Rare Ranger Assault Rifle, and two Chug Splash.
  • Panther in that gas station northeast of Rocky Reels drops an Epic Auto Shotgun and an Epic Stinger SMG.

We choose to visit Panther, as Rocky Reels is a death trap and Sabina is too far north, but the choice is yours.

You’ll find Panther somewhere in this gas station, you’ll be able to easily locate her using the speech bubble icon. This was the same gas station visited in the finding the coolest player on the island quest a couple of months ago.

Once you have found her, simply talk to her and select the Duel option in her interaction wheel. Once you do, the duel will start, so be sure you are well-armed and prepared before then.

Keep in mind the challenge does require you to win, but that is all there is to know about how to challenge a character to a duel in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. Be sure you’re keeping an eye on the Play Your Way challenges while working on these.
