Coffee Stain North’s highly anticipated follow-up to 2014’s cult hit Goat Simulator 3 is finally out in the wild, and don’t worry if you feel like you missed out on the second game – as the joke is that there wasn’t actually a Goat Simulator 2. If you’ve arrived here, chances are you’re wondering: How to solve the Children of the Hay event and unlock the Scarecrow. Here’s everything you need to know about that.
How to Unlock the Scarecrow in Goat Simulator 3
First things first, when you stumble upon a weird sacrificial circle in the northwest of Fairmeadows Ranch, you’ll kick off the Children of the Hay event. As the description goes, you’ll need to “Sacrifice some Scarecrows.”
Nearby, just down the hill, there are two wheat fields. Head towards them, and you’ll find three scarecrows scattered around the area. Using your tongue, lick them with the Square button on PlayStation or the X button on Xbox and drag them back to the aforementioned sacrificial circle.
Placing them in the circle will “sacrifice” them. Once you’ve sacrificed all three Scarecrows, you’ll solve the Children of the Hay event and permanently unlock the Scarecrow skin for you to sport in-game. It’s pretty cool.
So, there you have it. Hopefully, this helped to clue you in on how to solve the Children of the Hay event and unlock the Scarecrow in Goat Simulator 3.
