Where to Buy Bewitching Branches in Elden Ring

The easiest way to get your hands on some Bewitchign Branches is to buy them from a Nomadic Merchant in Liurna of the Lakes. This merchant is found just north of the Bellum Church Site of Grace, right here:

The branches can be bought for 1,600 Runes each. If you make it to the Bellum Church, simply walk through the hole in the ground and the merchant will be right in front of you, at a campfire

How to Craft Bewitching Branches

The process of crafting this special item is a bit more complicated. Gideon Ofnir — the man in the Roundtable Hold library — will give you the recipe for Bewitching Branches, but only after you’ve found Mohg, Lord of Blood in the Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum at this location:

After you’ve discovered Mohg’s whereabouts, return to Gideon and he’ll reward you with the Fevor’s Cookbook [3] item. You’ll need a Sacramental Bud and Miquella’s Lily to craft the branches.

What Bewitching Branches Do

You can probably tell from their name, but Bewitching Branches cause enemies to aid you in battle once they’re used. At the cost of 14 FP, a branch will force most targeted enemies to join you.

This won’t work on most bosses, but it does affect summons during boss fights — like the ones that appear when fighting Commander Niall in Castle Sol, for example.
