Horizon Zero Dawn Release Time

Guerrilla Games is finally ready to launch their new franchise, a post-post-apocalypse action-RPG titled Horizon Zero Dawn. You may have heard of it, or its stellar robot animals, and if so, you’re probably wondering exactly when you can play the game. Luckily, we have a confirmed release time to hold on to.

Horizon Zero Dawn releases on PlayStation 4 midnight ET on Feb. 28, 2017. If you’re on the west coast, the game will actually be available from the store at 9pm PT on Feb. 27.

You will also have the option to pre-download the game 48 hours before the release. We recommend hardwiring your PlayStation for this process – the download is a hefty 39.485GB, and may take a handful of hours to complete on an average internet connection.

That’s all there is to know about Horizon Zero Dawn’s release time. For more on the game, check out our review over here. If you want to take in some PS4 Pro screenshots of the game’s gorgeous open world, we’ve got a gallery for you over here. And finally, if you’re looking to pick up the game, be sure to read up on its multiple editions and pre-order bonuses before you buy.
