All three of the games can be played in VR, not just the new one, but they can only be played on PlayStation VR for now. There is no Hitman 3 VR version for any PC virtual reality platforms.

How to Play in VR in Hitman 3

First of all, you need to make sure that you have the PlayStation 4 version of Hitman 3 installed, even if you’re playing on PlayStation 5. If you’re on the new console and have connected your headset to it, the game will play in backwards compatible. You cannot use the PS5 version of the game at all.

To actually play it once you’ve got the right version installed, the best thing to do is to turn the headset on before you load up the game. Then, you’ll see an option to enter Hitman 3 or play the VR Tutorial. The tutorial is a separate experience from anything in the main game and it teaches you the basics or moving and shooting in VR.

If you decide to enter Hitman 3’s main missions, you’ll be able to start the missions as normal, with the menus staying the same as when you’re not playing in VR.

If you choose to not turn the headset on first, you can select the “Turn on VR” tile from the Hitman 3 main menu. It’ll then switch to the VR menus and you’ll be able to jump into the levels you want to play.

That’s everything you need to know about how to play Hitman 3 in VR. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide or search for Twinfinite.
