How to Redeem Hitman 2’s Legacy Pack DLC

Recommended Videos

While Hitman 2 introduces a number of new locations, IO Interactive has also provided the Legacy Pack as an optional bit of DLC. For owners of the original Hitman on the same platform, players can download the Legacy Pack free of charge, allowing them to access enhanced and remastered versions of the locations Agent 47 visited in the first game. The pack is also available to purchase separately for $19.99, should you enjoy Hitman 2 so much you want to see how it all started. Here’s how to redeem Hitman 2’s Legacy Pack DLC.

First things first, it’s important to note that there are actually two different Legacy Packs for Hitman 2 – the standard and GOTY versions. The standard pack contains remastered and enhanced versions of the Season One locations, Escalation Contracts that will be added into Hitman 2 over time, and the carrying over of progression systems, difficulty levels and gameplay mechanics from the Season One Locations to Hitman 2 locations.

The GOTY pack, on the other hand, includes all of the above, alongside the content listed below.

  • Patient Zero campaign, including four missions.
  • Three GOTY suits – Raven, Clown, and Cowboy.
  • Three GOTY Escalation Contracts.

The Legacy Pack you’ll be able to redeem in Hitman 2 depends on what version of Season One you had. GOTY edition owners will get access to the GOTY Legacy Pack, while standard edition owners get the standard pack. Makes sense!

If you’re wanting to purchase the Legacy Pack, it’ll set you back $20 and you’ll be getting the GOTY version. Now that you know all about the different versions of the DLC and their contents, let’s tell you what you need to do to redeem and play it in Hitman 2.
