How to Beat Fenrir in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
Fenrir is the penultimate boss in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and manages to put up quite a fight. However, this large wolf is easy to take on if you know how to approach it. It relies solely on physical attacks which deal massive damage, so make sure to get some dodge practice in before facing off against this towering boss. Also, because Ninja Theory just needs fights to be tricky, Fenrir is invulnerable if you’re not using focus, so don’t forget that.
The fight is relatively straight forward. Just dodge a lot and get in one or two hits (greed will lead to you getting hurt and possibly dying). You’ll want to dodge sideways when fighting normally, but if Fenrir jumps up, roll backwards as far as you can. This is an area of effect (AoE) attack that will hurt you badly if you’re standing to close. Just keep dodging and attacking normally and you’ll be fine.
Throughout the fight, the cave that you’re fighting in will go completely dark at random moments. When this happens, activate your focus to search for the boss and prepare to dodge. He will either charge or jump out when you spot him. Other than that, continue the fight as detailed above until you win your third Hellblade: Saenua’s Sacrifice boss battle.
