How to Get All Trophies and Achievements in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

Recommended Videos

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is the newest game from Ninja Theory (Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, DmC: Devil May Cry). It places players into the boots of Senua, a young woman who must traverse her own personal hell that has been brought to life by her psychosis. Filled with Norse and Celtic influences, players will have to face off against powerful foes and even darker forces in order to come out the other end alive. Thankfully, there are some rewards in the form of trophies and achievements waiting for you on the other end, and they’re not that difficult to obtain. You pretty much have to just play through the story, with only one trophy/achievement being missable (tied to collectibles). Below, you’ll find a quick rundown.

Since most of the trophies and achievements in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice do revolve around the story, the following list will contain quite a few spoilers. Read ahead knowing that we will reveal bosses and other tidbits.

There are 15 trophies in total thanks to the inclusion of a platinum on the PlayStation 4 (PS4):

Done (PS4 Platinum) – Collect all other trophies (DLC is not required for this).

The Fight Begins (Gold) – Reach the Gate for the first time. You’ll have to head to the gate as part of the story, so this is impossible to miss as long as you don’t just quit the game forever.

Extinguished (Gold) – Defeat Surtr. This is one of the first bosses you’ll face in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. He’s fairly easy to defeat and uses no minions so you should be fine. Just dodge to the side and use heavy attacks and you can beat him without getting hit. When he surrounds himself with fire rush toward him (the fire actually doesn’t hurt) to do more damage.

Master of Illusion (Gold) – Defeat Valravn. This boss is found right nearby Surtr. Another manageable boss. He does like to use ranged attacks, though, so be sure to keep close and use your blocking and parries (R1) to get the edge in close combat. There will be some smaller enemies to contend with during the fight, but they aren’t too tough. At the very end, you must use your vision ability (R2) in order to actual kill Valravn. Without it you won’t do any damage at all due to its shadow form.

Source of Darkness (Gold) – Meet Hela for the first time on the Bridge. This is another of those story trophies and achievements in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Simply progress and this will pop naturally.

Trust Your Senses (Silver) – Complete the Blindness Shard Challenge. While this is called a challenge, the game guides you through it and you have no choice but to beat it anyway as they’re part of the story.  The following challenge trophies and achievements are the same.

Different Perspectives (Silver) – Complete the Tower Shard Challenge.

Cure for the Plague (Silver) – Complete the Swamp Shard Challenge.

Escaped (Silver) – Complete the Labyrinth Shard Challenge.

Gramr Released (Gold) – Pull Gramr out of the Tree. You’ll come across this instance as part of the story.

Warrior (Silver) – Escape the Sea of Corpses. Can’t be missed as you’ll have to do this to progress.

Into the Mountain (Gold) – Enter Helheim. Part of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice’s story so it can’t be missed.

Tamed the Beast (Gold) – Defeat Fenrir. Part of story. If you need help, here is a boss guide for this encounter.

The Final Battle (Gold) – Confront Hela. Can’t be missed. It can be tricky to finish, but we’ve provided a guide to help you out.

Stories from the North (Gold) – Collect all of the Lorestones. There are 44 in total and most are easy to spot. Plus, the game keeps track of those you’ve obtained and that progress carries over. They’re large, glowing stones that provide more story. If you’re having trouble locating them, here’s a guide listing all 44 locations.

There you go, this is how to get all of the trophies and achievements in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. For more on this new title, be sure to check out our wiki.
