As soon as Master Chief sets out on his next adventure, he’ll need to navigate through a ship which can be a little bit of a maze. Thankfully, his suit has a built-in scanner that not only shows him the way to go but also lets him know where collectibles and weapons are that are nearby.

How to Scan & Reveal Objectives, Collectibles & Weapons

All you have to do to activate this scan is press down on the d-pad. Once you do, a pulse will fire out from Chief’s suit. This pulse will highlight all of the objectives, collectibles, and weapons in the general vicinity, though they will only appear highlighted for a brief time. There is only a brief cooldown for this ability, so you don’t have to worry too much about needing to wait if you want to scan and reveal something else.
