Halo Infinite: How to Get on Top of the Tower

If you want to collect all the skulls in Halo Infinite, then you’re going to want to get on top of the Tower. The Tower is the structure where the third story mission takes place, seeing Master Chief use a grav lift to get inside, before taking on Chak ‘Lok at the top. However, this story mission doesn’t see you getting on top of the Tower itself, which is where the IWHBYD skull can be found. So, we’re here to explain how to get up there so you can nab it for yourself.

First off, we’d recommend waiting until you’ve completed ‘The Tower’ story mission before making your way to the top. If you try beforehand, you’ll have enemies both inside and outside of the tower shooting at you, making things a little bit trickier.

Getting on Top of the Tower in Halo Infinite

With the mission completed, jump down from the Tower and land at one of its large legs, it doesn’t matter which. Next, use your Grappling Hook to clamber up, and run up the inside of it.

When you reach the top of the leg, you want to use your Grapple to hop over this first ledge. You’ll now have a pretty big gap before the next ledge Master Chief can stand on.

Use your Grappling Hook to aim as high up the wall as you can, and look out for the red vents near the top, as this is an indicator of where we want to end up. You may need to use your Grappling Hook straight after the first instance, while you’re falling through the air to rescue yourself and reach the ledge.

Once you’re at the top of the ledge, face in towards the Tower and jump backwards away from it. This should give you enough time and the angle to Grapple Hook onto the top of the Tower.
