Halo Infinite Flood

With the release of Halo Infinite’s campaign, many players already have a bunch of questions around mission structures, enemy types, and lore-based questions. Are the Flood in Halo Infinite?

To give you a quick answer, no, the Flood aren’t physically present in Halo Infinite. In other words, you won’t be fighting against the swarms of the tiny alien creatures, but they are mentioned in conversations held between Master Chief, The Weapon, and other characters.

Specifically, there’s one mentioning of the Flood and the fact there are “more dangerous threats on Zeta Halo,” but little else is really said of them that we picked up on.

In fact, there’s no horde-like enemy to replace the Flood in Halo Infinite, either. Instead, you’ll be fighting against the Banished’s Brutes, Grunts, and a new Sentinel-like flying type of enemy, too.

While this might not be the answer you’re looking for, rest assured that Halo Infinite’s campaign is still a blast. The transition to an open-world format makes for one of the more impressive and immersive adventures we’ve embarked on with the Chief.

Now if only co-op campaign was available at launch so we could mess around with our friends in the open-world.

That’s everything you need to know on whether or not there are Flood in Halo Infinite. For more tips, tricks and guides, head over to our wiki or see more of our coverage on the game below.
