Hades originally released in Early Access for PC players a couple of years ago, but now the game has officially launched and it’s also available for the Nintendo Switch for the first time. If you’re trying to beat all of the bosses and get to the top of Mt. Olympus, you’re going to need to increase the power of your six weapons. Here’s everything you need to know about how to upgrade weapons in Hades.
How to Upgrade Weapons in Hades
In order to permanently strengthen your weapons in Hades, you will first need to unlock all six of them by collecting Chthonic Keys throughout runs. You can get these from shops or as rewards for completing chambers.
Once you have all six of them in your training area, you will now be able to select a Reveal option if you have the weapon equipped and that will open a menu showing off your upgrades for that specific weapon. You can see it in the images down below:
In order to actually upgrade them, you’re going to need to acquire Titan Blood, which you can get by defeating bosses and using different weapons. You can read more about how to get Titan Blood right here if you’ve not managed to collect some by now.
Titan Blood is not the easiest item to collect in Hades so make sure to only upgrade the weapons that you use most of the time instead of spending it on random skills.
You won’t be able to remove the upgrade once you spend the Titan Blood or undo your decision so choose wisely!
