In Guardians of the Galaxy, players are rewarded for exploring the mostly linear levels of the game with loads of fun extra stuff. That includes plenty of collectibles, outfits, and unique lines of dialogue. Arguably one of the funniest and most rewarding things to come from exploring in the game occurs in Chapter 5 with the Prisoner. Here is everything you need to know about what happens to the prisoner from Chapter 5 of Guardians of the Galaxy.
What Happens to the Prisoner from Chapter 5?
Flush with stolen units from their escapades with Lady Hellbender, the Guardians make their way to the Rock, a Nova Corps station, to meet up with Centurion Ko-Rel in order to pay their fine and get the tracker off their ship.
When they arrive, the group finds that the station is mostly abandoned. After a little exploring, though, they are able to find that there is at least one person around: a prisoner asking them to let him out.
If Peter chooses to free them, the Prisoner will be lowered down instead of set free. While the others comment that he was either sent back to his cell or sent to the incinerator, you can actually see that he ends up being sent out into space.
Funnily enough, this actually isn’t the last we see of the Prisoner. I’m not 100% certain if it only occurs after this mission, but I actually saw the spaced convict again while I was staring out of the Milano’s window at the start of Chapter 12 after rescuing Drax.
It is possible that this can happen any time after Chapter 5 while you’re on the Milano and staring out the window, but this is when it happened for me.
That is everything you need to know about what happens to the prisoner from Chapter 4 of Guardians of the Galaxy.
