Grounded, as you’d expect from a survival game, is full of things to craft and items to collect. You can also build a base to stay safe in and sleep in to avoid the dangerous nighttime. So that you can build the best bases, here’s everything you need to know about how to get weed stem in Grounded.
Weed Stem is a very useful thing to get and there are a few ways you can do it. It’s used for things like flooring in houses that you’ll start to build following the tutorial.
How to Get Weed Stem in Grounded
The first and easiest way to get Weed Stem is to cut down Dandelions. You’ll find them near dry grass patches and can cut them down with the basic Pebblet Axe you’ll get early on. Just look for them and swipe at them and you’ll get one piece of Weed Stem.
Weed Stem is like Grass Planks, so you cannot add them to your inventory because they’re too big. You have to carry them around, but you can carry more than one at once.
The ability to get Grass Planks in the other way is more reliable, since it makes them easier to find, but it means you have to unlock something first.
You’ll find Weeds throughout the backyard and they give you Weed Stem when you cut them down. However, you need the Insect Axe to do so, which is the Tier 2 axe in Grounded.
To unlock that, you need to scan a Ladybug Head in the Resource Analyzer you find in the tent early in the game. Once you’ve crafted it, you’ll be able to chop Weeds down and get access to the material more easily.
