The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a compilation of the two Great Ace Attorney games being released for the Switch in July. It features Ryunosuke Naruhodo as the protagonist, who is also the ancestor of Phoenix Wright. Just like the main star of the main series, Ryunosuke needs to conduct investigations and survive trials, which can take quite a bit of time. Here’s how to skip cutscenes and dialogue in Great Ace Attorney Chronicles.
Skipping Cutscenes and Dialogue in Great Ace Attorney Chronicles
There are only a handful of actual animated cutscenes in Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and they’re not all that long, but if you do find yourself wanting to skip them entirely, you can do so by pressing the + button and choosing the Skip option. Of course, we recommend watching them if this is your first time playing through the games.
It’s also possible to skip through the text presented in dialogue boxes, though that’s a little bit less straightforward.
First off, it’s important to note that if you have the Autoplay function toggled on by pressing the – button, you won’t be able to skip through the text at all. This means that the text will load at its standard speed, and will only progress once the box is filled.
If you’re a fast reader and want to skip ahead more quickly, turn off the Autoplay function by pressing the – button. You’ll now have to press the A or B buttons to progress to the next dialogue box, and you can also mash those buttons to force the text to load more quickly.
This will allow you to get through the text quicker, which can be handy especially if you’re reloading a save and trying to get through conversations you’ve already seen before.
That’s all you need to know about how to skip cutscenes and dialogue in Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
