How to Get Credits (Money) Fast in Gran Turismo Sport

While Gran Turismo Sport has significantly fewer vehicles than its predecessors, car collecting is still an important aspect of the game. Completing the Daily Workout and the various Campaign challenges will naturally reward you with a sleek new car, but you won’t get to choose your reward as prize vehicles are completely random. Thankfully, you can purchase specific cars using Credits. So, how do you get Credits fast?

There are various ways to get Credits in Gran Turismo Sport. Credits can be acquired by completing any match in Arcade, Campaign, and Sport.

With Gran Turismo Sport largely being advertised as a competitive multiplayer game, it’s easy to be misled that playing Sport matches is the fastest way to get rich. Multiplayer races are actually one of the slowest ways to earn money as it takes a long amount of time to start a match. Worst, you’ll likely have a tougher time winning races against real-life players, which means fewer Credits if you land far away from first place.

The Circuit Experience in Campaign is definitely one of the fastest ways to earn Credits. Getting a Gold ranking for each sector of the track will earn you around 40,000 Credits. Racing the full lap will earn you much more. However, beginners might find it difficult to complete missions in Circuit Experience as all auto-drive features are turned off. Luckily, you can still have driving line assists and the braking indicator. Regardless, you’ll definitely learn the ins and outs of each track while getting a big sum of Credits in this game mode.

Custom Races in Arcade mode is another great way to earn Credits. Customizing your racing experience will also accordingly adjust your Credit rewards. Factors that affect Credit rewards include the number of laps, number of cars, boost, race type, time limit, starting grid, opponent category, and opponent difficulty. For example, racing a total of 200 laps in Dragon Trail – Seaside with all the difficulty modifiers ramped up will earn you over a million Credits.

Completing races in Mission Challenge and Driving School will also give you a fair amount of Credits. The harder the task, the more Credits you earn. The same goes for single races in Arcade mode.
