This boss fight occurs toward the end of Chapter 3 as Akito and KK fight Ko-omote, as she tries to prevent them from stopping Hannya’s plan of using Akito’s sister, Mari, to bring forth a spirit apocalyptic scenario. Here’s our best advice for taking her down:

Right at the start of the fight, Ko-omote absorbs KK, leaving Akito with no powers. Just like when he was previously taken, Akito must rely on his bow and quick purges to attack and do damage. For this specific enemy, you have to focus on doing damage to the tail. Luckily, there are a lot of hiding places and KK is talking you through the process.

Crouch in one of the areas in the middle of the map – it’s literally in the center, kind of like the inside of a building, there is also a lot of bow and arrow ammo in here – and wait for Ko-omote to walk past. She walks around the outside and you can tell when she is coming because the electronics start to bug out.

Once she goes past go behind her and do a quick purge. Be careful in the second round, as she now spits fog that will hurt you and draw you out of that center area if she knows you’re in there.

Get behind her again and quick purge her and there will only be one tail left. Repeat the process and you’ll have beaten the boss. Completing this battle with end chapter 3.
