Best Assault Rifle – Ghost Recon Wildlands
There are a lot of weapons in Ghost Recon Wildlands, however, the one that players may end up using the most is the assault rifle. These weapons offer great range, stability, and can be used in conjunction with a silencer meaning that they’re optimal for stealth missions as well. However, there is no one best assault rifle that stands above all else, as everyone has their personal preferences for what they want to use. That being said, in our time with Ghost Recon Wildlands we found that two assault rifles can vie for the best assault rifle position: the ACR and Tar-21.
If you are looking for a Ghost Recon Wildlands weapon that has generally good balancing across the board, the ACR fits that bill as if comes with fantastic base stats. Its damage is moderately high along with its handling, range, and penetrating power which makes it great for medium to long range engagements. It can be fired in both full auto and single shot, which allows players to compensate for the lack of pinpoint accuracy. This is an assault rifle that is a jack of all trades but a master of none, meaning it’s simply a well rounded gun that can compliment virtually any build in the game.
For those looking for an assault rifle with a bit more accuracy and range, consider grabbing the TAR-21 which is located in the Montuyoc Region. At the cost of damage, this gun has a high rate of fire and solid distance killing potential which makes it ideal for those who prefer to hang back or use sniper rifles. While it’s not the best for breaching buildings or taking on a large number of foes without support, the TAR-21 is one of the best assault rifles if you are a person who considers themselves a marksman.
