Complete Main Missions
Obvious entry is obvious. Completing main missions is the best way to get a ton of XP and level up fast, particularly during the early stages of Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Main missions are marked fairly obviously on your map, and can be checked by going to the Objectives Board by pressing the touchpad on PS4 or View button on Xbox One. You can then pin your main missions here so you can place markers in the game world so you know where you’re going.
Get the Experience Upgrade Skill
Every time you level up, you’ll earn a skill point that can be spent within the vast sprawling skill tree in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. One of the first you should be getting is called ‘Experience Upgrade.’
It can be found in the ‘Basics’ section that you’ll reach straight from picking a class. This will grant you a 20% XP boost for everything you do, which obviously helps you level up faster.
Check Your Gear for XP Bonuses
You can further add to your XP boost by making sure you’ve got the right gear equipped. Almost every bit of gear in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, be it a weapon or armor can have a special buff or bonus. These vary, so you can’t just equip anything and get an XP bonus, but some do grant 5% XP bonuses for simply having them equipped.
To check your gear’s bonuses simply hover over it with your reticle and it’ll bring it up alongside its stats. Any common (grey) gear you have won’t have these boosts, but any green, blue, or purple rarity gear will, so be sure to check these and get them equipped.
Farm Hostiles
Finally, you’ll want to make sure that as you’re exploring the world and progressing through the game that you’re making note of any areas with a bunch of enemies.
Thanks to the wonders of technology, these enemies will respawn after a while once you’ve defeated them, and they’ll grant you XP all over again.
