Ghost Recon Breakpoint looks to redefine the franchise, as players take the role of Nomad, a member of an elite special operations unit of the United States Army known as Ghosts. While there is still a lot of information missing, there is a bit we do know, including what it will release on. Here is everything you need to know about whether Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coming to Nintendo Switch.
Will Ghost Recon Breakpoint Get a Nintendo Switch Release?
Unfortunately for Nintendo fans, there are no plans for a port to the device, as it is set to release worldwide Oct. 4, 2019, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It will also be launching with Google Stadia in November 2019.
If there is good news to be found here, it is that Ubisoft’s relationship with Nintendo and the Switch has been growing considerably as of late. Alongside the Rayman and Just Dance series, the two have collaborated together to make successful titles like Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
AAA ports to the Nintendo Switch have also been increasing as of late, including a remastered version Assassin’s Creed III for the console earlier this year.
Adding a shooter seems like the next logical step in regards to games that should head to the Switch next for Ubisoft, and Ghost Recon Breakpoint is certainly one fans would be interested in taking on the go.
Only time will tell as to whether the game will ever come to the Switch, but for now, you’ll just have to enjoy it on other consoles.
