The bow and arrow are a lethal weapon in Jin’s arsenal. Being able to take members of the Mongol army down from a distance can be invaluable when stealth and discretion are key. However, you obviously need multiple arrows to use it more than one. In this guide, we’ll talk you through how to get more arrows in Ghost of Tsushima, so you can always be ready to fire off a headshot.
Getting More Arrows in Ghost of Tsushima
The good news is there are a couple of ways you can get more arrows on your adventure.
The first is to simply go to the dead bodies of enemies. If you killed them with an arrow, you may be able to go and reclaim this. This isn’t always the case, however, so do keep this in mind. You will eventually need to find more.
The other way to get more arrows in Ghost of Tsushima is to look out for little archer caches.
These can be found in the forts you’ll find located throughout the open world. Interacting with these as you walk past them will allow Jin to restock on arrows.
Finally, you can also purchase arrows from Trappers in villages and towns. They cost x5 supplies for a single arrow, which is honestly not a great value proposition considering how readily available they are around the map.
How to Carry More Arrows
Initially, you’ll only be able to carry five arrows in Ghost of Tsushima, which can be very limiting, especially if your aim isn’t great.
You can upgrade how many arrows Jin can carry by visiting a Trapper. Here, you’ll be able to interact with them and exchange animal hides to purchase the upgrade to carry more arrows.
It doesn’t matter what kind of animal hide you bring to Ghost of Tsushima, as any hides from deer, bear, or attack dogs are all classed as the ‘Predator Hides’ that you require. Once the upgrade is purchased, it is automatically applied.
