How to Get Sucrose in Genshin Impact

Sucrose is 4-star wind elemental character in Genshin Impact who is prized for her Anemo damage and general AoE capabilities.

Like all characters in Genshin Impact, the primary way to unlock Sucrose is through the Wish mechanic. You’ll need to complete the game’s tutorial section and reach Adventure Rank Level 5 to unlock Wishes, then spend Intertwined Fate on a standard or promotional banner in the hope of getting her.

For more information on the process, see our how to get more characters guide. In brief, though, you’ll have to spend Primogems on more Intertwined Fate once you run out of your free currency drop given to you at the start of the game (see our how to claim free rewards guide). Primogems can be garnered by completing quests, chest openings, farming Domains, etc. Or you can exchange them for the premium Genesis Crystal currency.

Put simply, getting Sucrose is down to the RNG Gods.

The only other potential (but not currently possible) way to get Sucrose in Genshin Impact is through Paemon’s Deals by exchanging Starglitter. Sucrose is not for sale at the moment but it’s possible in a future server reset that they could be. So keep an eye on that as well if you’re still struggling to get lucky.

That’s all you need to know for how to get Sucros in Genshin Impact. For more useful tips and guides on the game, check out our dedicated guide wiki and stay tuned for our review for our full thoughts on miHoYo’s ambitious new title.
