How to Uninstall Genshin Impact on PC

Genshin Impact has its own launcher on PC, so it can’t be uninstalled from some marketplace or other services unless it was downloaded from the Epic Games Store. In that case, simply open up your Library in the Epic Games Launcher, then click on the three dots next to the game’s name to find the uninstall option.

What you’ll need to do is go to where you’ve chosen to download it on your computer and open up the main game folder titled ‘Genshin Impact’. Then, select the Uninstall application found inside to remove the game from your PC. The inside of the game folder will look like this:

You can just head over to the official website to reinstall the game for free if you want to get it back. If you’d rather not completely uninstall the game, there are other options when facing issues.

How to Repair Genshin Impact

Instead of fully uninstalling it, you can also repair the Genshin Impact game files. To do this, open up the launcher and click on the gear symbol found at the top-right corner of the window.

This will open up the Settings menu. Once inside, just scroll down until you find the Repair Now option. This will repair the game files and, hopefully, fix whatever issue you’re having without forcing a full uninstall.
